Action for Boston Community Development has opened the Mystic Valley Opportunity Center (MVOC), providing services through its newest site located at 11 Dartmouth Street, Suite 104, Malden, MA 02148. Serving residents of Malden, Medford, Everett ??? MVOC resources include case management, immigration services, free tax preparation, children???s clothing, applications for SNAP (Food Stamps), and applications for MassHealth.?? Qualifying residents can utilize Energy Programs at 18 Dartmouth Street, Malden. Fuel assistance, weatherization improvements, heating system repairs and replacements and other fuel related resources are available to those in Malden, Medford, Everett, Woburn, Winchester, Stoneham and Melrose. Looking for childcare options for your infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers? Qualifying households can apply for programs with Malden Head Start & Children???s Services located at 493 Main Street, Malden. For more information call (781)397-8071.

Addressing the issue of homelessness and homeless prevention in Malden, Medford, and Everett – ABCD introduces its Housing and Homelessness Prevention department which provides housing counseling, and housing search workshops to at-risk residents and families. Assisting the homeless people of Malden, Medford, Everett, Revere and Chelsea ??- the ABCD Mobile Homeless Outreach Team (MHOT) van provides outreach, intake, and assessment to those chronically dealing with homelessness.
