Do you love to travel, enjoy learning new things, explore interesting places and meet people who share a love of adventure? Come and learn about Road Scholar— the world’s largest educational travel organization for adults at the Weaver Library on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 7pm. Rhode Island Road Scholar Ambassador Russell Kushner offers a slide presentation that features an overview of the travel organization and a sample of the 5,500 Road Scholar trips/programs offered each year in 50 states and 150 countries worldwide.
A university of the world, this not-for-profit educational organization offers extraordinary learning adventures. Travelers are immersed in a variety of educational activities. Road Scholar enlists faculty and experts who offer insider access not available to most individuals. Dedicated to making educational travel available to everyone, Road Scholar offers financial aid for those who otherwise could not participate in its programs. The evening will conclude with a $50-gift card drawing for travel with Road Scholar.
