North Dighton —On Friday, April 26, 2019, individuals and staff from Cooperative Production, Inc., (“CO-OP”), a non-profit organization assisting adults with intellectual and other disabilities, present a music and arts performance, BELIEVE, at 7:00 p.m. at the Benjamin Friedman School in Taunton.

According to CO-OP President and CEO, Joyce Faria, “CO-OP believes in the power of music. For decades, we’ve seen our music program empower individuals, who’ve gained confidence in other areas of their lives in part due to the skills gained through music performance. We hope the community will join us on April 26 for another inspirational show.”

This program is made possible, in part, due to a generous donation from the Mass Cultural Council. Mass Cultural Council funds reach every community in the Commonwealth. Its mission is to promote excellence, education, access and diversity in the arts, humanities and sciences, to improve the quality of life for all Massachusetts residents and contribute to the vitality of our communities and economy.

CO-OP also received support from Comprehensive Benefit Administrators, who is the Platinum Sponsor of this program.

According to State Representative Shaunna O’Connell, “Massachusetts has a long history of supporting music and the arts in our community and one in which I am proud to offer my support. Through this program, CO-OP is showing how music can bring people together, and we can all celebrate community, personal empowerment, and determination.”

Tickets to this program may be purchased at www.co-op.cc/events/ or at the door.
