The Community College of Rhode Island is going “On the Rhode” this month when the college’s mobile recruit team makes its way from Central Falls to Misquamicut of the course of two days to provide information and assistance to prospective students.

Wednesday, June 19:

  • Central Falls: Adams Public Library (205 Central St.), 9am – 12pm
  • Pawtucket: Pawtucket Public Library (13 Summer St.), 1pm – 4pm
  • Downtown Providence: Kennedy Plaza, 4:30pm – 7:30pm

Thursday, June 20:

  • Middletown: Second Beach, 8am – 11am
  • Narragansett: Town Beach, 12pm – 3pm
  • Westerly: Misquamicut State Beach, 4pm – 7pm

On hand at each of the six locations will be admissions and enrollment specialists to speak with prospective students about the value of a CCRI education and provide information on the college’s more than 90 programs and seven Academic and Career Paths, the RI Promise scholarship program, financial aid and student support services.  In addition, individuals can apply to CCRI on the spot.

“We know that people are busy during the summer and it is important for us to meet prospective students where they live and work,” said Terri Kless, Director of Admissions for CCRI.  “Our mobile recruit team can answer questions and help people apply right there.  It is the fastest, easiest, and most convenient way for individuals to start or continue on their college path.”
