Join us at Oak Knoll as we explore the different habitats found around the sanctuary. We will look for interesting animals, plants, and see what has visited the sanctuary. This program runs multiple days, no two hikes will be the same, so feel free to join us for each one! Registration is required. Come explore Oak Knoll after dark! Join Oak Knoll staff to learn about the owls of Massachusetts. Start off indoors with an interactive presentation and owl pellet dissection. Then head outside for a night hike to listen for evidence of our feathery friends. Sometimes we hear them, sometimes we don’t, but we always have a blast!  Pre-Registration is required. From Tyrannosaurs to Turkeys

Birds are the ancestors of dinosaurs, but not all dinosaurs are the ancestors of birds. In this program, participants will learn how scientists know which dinosaurs are related to birds, explore some real life fossils, and then go for a hike to see what birds we can find.
