2019 Design Awards Celebration!
AIAri is pleased to continue the annual ArchiStar Awards program. The purpose of the program is to honor individuals who make outstanding contributions to architecture but who are not architects.
Any AIAri member may nominate an individual who has made significant contributions to a specific project or has had success in a particular program or initiative. Examples of potential nominees include, but are not limited to, owners, consultants, contractors, educators, and government officials.
Winning individuals and a guest will be invited to attend the AIAri Design Awards Celebration where they will be recognized as part of the design awards ceremony.
Nominations shall consist of a maximum 250 word statement, as PDF document on letterhead, describing the contributions of the nominee (no photos, please).
Nominations should be submitted via email to AIAri at aiari.designawards@gmail.com by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2019. The fee for each nomination is $25.00.
We are excited to announce that the 2019 AIAri Design Awards Celebration will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at WaterRower, Warren, RI. The Chapter’s Annual Meeting (for all members) is at 5:30 pm, and the Design Awards Celebration is from 6-10 pm.
Tickets : Ticket prices are as follows: $80.00 for AIA Members, $95.00 for Non-Members, $60 for Associates, $30 for Students. AIA Member Group Rate for four (4) tickets is $275 (savings of $45).
This year we highlight one of Rhode Island’s award winning design firms by hosting our ceremonies at one of their award winning spaces!
We will have live music, the red carpet experience and our Toys for Tots Drive again this year!
