Dear Friend,
This weekend, I will be dancing the title role in The Nutcracker . This is such a big moment for me, my first professional Nutcracker, my first time in a title role and all of this in my first season as a professional ballet dancer with Festival Ballet Providence. I hope that you will be there in the audience to share this experience with me.
This Nutcracker season I am reflecting on one of the greatest gifts in my life – dance. My first exposure to dance was at a field trip performance of The Nutcracker when I was younger.
Later this week, I’ll be dancing the title role in the same ballet for thousands of students who attend our Discover Dance performances. It’s a full circle moment that makes me deeply honored to be sharing my gift with these young audiences.
