RHODE ISLAND SOCIETY OF CPAS ANNOUNCES JANUARY WORKFORCE TRAINING PROGRAM FOR COLLEGE JUNIORS AND SENIORS

Rhode Island Society of CPAs (RISCPA), one of the largest membership organizations in Rhode Island, announced it will hold the next Real Jobs workforce training program during winter break in January. The FREE program is aimed at enhancing the workforce skills and leadership potential for college juniors and seniors who have completed (or in the process of completing) an accounting curriculum and plan to enter financial sector jobs in Rhode Island. The program will run January 6th through January 17, 2020 and provide training on Sales, Networking, Communications/Public Speaking, Marketing, Social Media, Presentations, Etiquette and Protocols, Clifton Strengths, Personal Branding, Project Management and Financial Literacy.

 

The program will run during the two week “2020 Winter Break” 6 hours per day. Classes will be held at the RISCPA Training Center at 40 Sharpe Drive, Unit 5, Cranston, RI.

  • Bus transportation passes are available to participating students. • Participants will receive a $20/day stipend, based on attendance. • All participants will receive complimentary RISCPA memberships
