With major Hollywood films being postponed or released to directly to streaming video services, wouldn’t it be nice to see brand new (Premiere) films on the big screen?
Well, Tonight, Tuesday, August 11th you can see the best of the latest films made this year at the RIIFF Closing Night Double-Feature Finalé. The location is the at the Rustic Drive In, 1195 Eddie Dowling Hwy, North Smithfield, RI. Showtime: 8:00 p.m.
These award winning films will make you laugh, make you smile, make you think, inspire and ultimately entertain. They will give you a respite from the daily news and harken back memories to the glory days of the Drive-In movie theatres.
The weather forecast looks excellent too.
The hosts for the evening include WLNE ABC-6, Michael Drywa, Esq., RIIFF’s Advisory Board President, and Steven Feinberg, Executive Director of the RI Film & Television Office. The Festival will be using all three screens with 232 socially distanced spaces at the Rustic and presenting a double bill of premiere film work. The first program will be RIIFF’s signature salute to short films. Advance Tickets must be ordered online and cash payments will not be accepted
