2021 marks the 26th year of continuous operation of the artMOBILE program! This program has served over 30,000 youth since 1995.
Uncommon Threads: The Works of Ruth E. Carterhas put NBAM on the map with over 200,00 views on Google, with 43% of guests visiting for the first time.
In 2020 NBAM’s The Learning Studio: Early Literacy Through the Arts went virtual and, though it has returned as an in-person program, it still has a regular time slot on NB Cable Access (and is also popular in New Jersey!)
We recognize that this work for us is and must be ongoing. As we continue into unpredictable times, the need for arts, culture, and building community is greater than ever.
The essential role that artists have historically played in healing and recovery after major setbacks can’t be underestimated.
