MEDIA DAY RECAP
October 22, 2021. Providence, RI. On Tuesday October 19th, 2021, your Providence Pirates hosted their team’s media day at MacColl YMCA located in Lincoln, RI. Professional photos were taken of all the players and staff, along with some social media activities and press conferences.
During the press conferences, President/CEO – Sercan Fenerci, General Manager – Paul Rogers, Head Coach – Mark Gaffney, and a handful of players were asked to talk about their thoughts heading into the season.
“Our expectations are to be one of the top eight teams in the North East region of the ABA”, said Head Coach Mark Gaffney, “We want to qualify for the playoffs, win some games, and advance to the final eight of the ABA championship in April.”
The expectations are high for the Pirates heading into the 2021-2022 season with the ultimate goal of winning an ABA championship.
