Attleboro Mayor Kevin Dumas, right, is pictured with Triple Play Car Wash & QuickLube owner Terrance Elder, center, and Energy Fund Committee Member, Irene Frechette, St. Vincent DePaul Society. Triple Play Car Wash & Quick has donated $2000.00 in proceeds from a month long event in July to support a new city-wide fuel fundraising initiative launched by Mayor Dumas on June 16th.
The Attleboro Energy Fund will assist elderly and disabled citizens on fixed incomes, low-income and working poor families who are unable to meet the rising heating and fuel costs. The success of the Attleboro Energy Fund is based on the generosity of businesses, organizations, local churches, schools and the general public through direct contributions (tax-deductible), fund-raising events and volunteers who help co-ordinate special events.
