To the Editor, 

State Senator Jim Timilty is up for re-election this year and I want to express one of the many reasons why he will be getting my vote. Of the many issues facing our state today, one of the biggest concerns of mine has been the protection of the families in my community. Fortunately, we have an advocate with the knowledge and expertise who is working to ensure that we all sleep a little safer at night and that leader is Jim Timilty.

Senator Timilty always listens to my thoughts and concerns regarding the security of my family and my community. Of his many successful pieces of legislation on the Senate floor, one of his most memorable was that which reformed the state 911 system. Not only will this bill return $28 million to our state, but when someone in the community is in need of help, and makes that fateful call to 911, the responders will be some of the best trained in the nation. This is just one of so many examples of his ability to listen to our points of interest and take them to Beacon Hill, and deliver not only for the people of his district, but the entire Commonwealth.

I feel safe knowing that the experience of Senator Timilty ensures our safety and security. Because of everything he has done and will continue to do, he can definately count on my vote this November 4th. If you want the right person caring for your security over the next two years I ask you to join  me in voting for  Senator Jim Timilty.
