Congratulations To Dylan Estrella, Winner Of The 2008 SYRA Championship

As a sponsor of the 46 Mini-Cup Racing Team, the Bel-Aire Company in Attleboro would like to extend our congratulations to North Attleboro’s Dylan Estrella for winning the 2008 Seekonk Youth Racing Association Championship at Seekonk Speedway. Dylan was honored January 17th at the Seekonk Speedway Awards Banquet.

Besides being a junior at North Attleboro High School, an honor roll student, a member (now captain) of the varsity golf team, a member of the JV lacrosse team, and holding down a part-time job at the Bel-Aire Company, Dylan won the 2008 Mini-Cup 750 Division SYRA Championship in only his third year of racing. Before getting behind the wheel of the SYRA 600 Division racecar in 2006, Dylan had no previous driving experience. Many other drivers race go-carts or quarter-midgets before moving up to the mini-cup car level of racing. Dylan had never even driven a lawn mower.

Dylan raced one year in the 600 Division, before moving up to the faster, more competitive 750 Division in 2007. As the SYRA Divisions race on Friday evenings, Dylan often had to go from school to golf, then right to the race track, not getting home until 10 p.m. or later. In the upcoming racing season, Dylan will be moving up into the highly competitive sport truck division at Seekonk Speedway.

Bel-Aire Company is glad to support such a responsible, hard working, and dedicated teenager. Congratulations to Dylan Estrella, winner of the 2008 SYRA Championship. We wish him well in the Sport Truck Division in the upcoming 2009 racing season.
