March 31st, 2009 · 1 Comment

Spring is has arrived, and with it, the start of the 2009 baseball season!  Dunkin’ Donuts and the Pawtucket Red Sox are pleased to announce that they will be teaming up once again for the Dunkin’ Dugout program at McCoy Stadium.

Through the Dunkin’ Dugout, Dunkin’ Donuts will provide 800 tickets to PawSox home games this season for local youth agencies.  Young fans will have the chance to smell the freshly mowed outfield and hear the crack of the bat as they catch the boys of summer and perhaps a home run ball.  The Dunkin’ Dugout is part of Dunkin’ Donuts’ Community Partnership, an outreach program that supports youth-based charitable efforts to benefit communities that Dunkin’ Donuts serves.

For more information, or to request a game schedule and consideration for tickets, please contact Kate Barba at 401.351.8855 or kbarba@regancomm.com. Every effort will be made to accommodate game preferences.

“Dunkin’ Donuts is committed to supporting the communities it serves, and the Dunkin’ Dugout program gives us the opportunity to support numerous youth groups in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts,” said Todd Wallace, Dunkin’ Donuts Field Marketing Manager. “We are thrilled to provide Pawtucket Red Sox tickets to young fans who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the thrill of our national pastime.”

“The Pawtucket Red Sox have a long history of community service and we strive to make McCoy Stadium the most inclusionary venue in New England,” said Mike Tamburro, Pawtucket Red Sox President. “We are pleased to team up with our friends at Dunkin Donuts in reaching out and making dreams begin for a new generation of fans at McCoy Stadium.”
