SIBL 10-and-Under Travel Team

The SIBL roster included Valentino Aiello, Marcus Pegurri, D.J. Machado, Damien Mendoza, Lucas Souza, Ryan Lewis, Josh Tobin, Drew DeCoste, Zachary Strong, Jacob Raposo, Will Rose, Noah Julius, manager Doug Machado and coaches Chris Aiello and Scott Pegurri.

SWANSEA – The 10-and-Under travel team of the Swansea Independent Baseball League placed first in two of the three tournaments in which it entered this summer and finished with an overall 10-2 record.

After winning an AAU Baseball tournament in Randolph earlier this summer, the SIBL squad ripped off four straight wins in its final appearance to claim the championship of the Summer Blast Tournament sponsored by the Rhode Island Rays AAU Baseball program in Warwick, R.I. In between, Swansea lost both its outings in the North Region Tournament of the Mustang League of PONY Baseball hosted by the South End Youth Athletic Association of New Bedford.
