Cape Verdean Progressive Center Celebrates its 65th Anniversary October 9-11th

The Cape Verdean Progressive Center, located at 329 Grosvenor Avenue, East Providence, RI is celebrating its 65^th Anniversary with three days of festivities. Starting on Friday, October 9^th, the CV Club opens its doors to the public for a free night of fun including dancing to the music of Creole sounds, film viewing and refreshments.

On Saturday, October 10^th, the CV Club will be honoring past presidents with a dedication of a photo gallery from 8PM-12:30PM. Entrance fee to event is $7.00 donation at the door. The CV Club is topping off the weekend with their 65^th Anniversary Ball from 5PM-11PM at the Johnson and Wales Inn, located in Seekonk, MA. Tickets are $60 per person and must be purchased by 9/25/09. Dinner will be Surf & Turf Prime Rib and Baked Stuffed Shrimp, Musical entertainment provided by Novosom
