Bishop Feehan High School’s Director of Guidance, Neil Loew, announced that senior Brendan Burke of Attleboro is the 2009 recipient of the DAR Good Citizen Award sponsored by the Attleboro Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The program is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship and is open to all seniors. Burke was selected based on his outstanding qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. He has an extensive service background as a member of the Campus Ministry Board of Directors, president of the student chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and Student Council Vice President. Burke is now eligible to enter the DAR Good Citizens scholarship contest and ultimately receive a $3000 scholarship.
