First grade students at St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro, MA gladly gave their 0.25 for their snack at lunch to contribute to the Haiti fund the school had already established. A total of $2,000 was sent to Passionist Priest Father Rick Frechette, C.P. in Port au Prince Father Frechette runs a Children’s Hospital there destroyed in the quake. He was featured on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. Many doctors have volunteered their time to assist Father Frechette after his plea for help.
