On Saturday, May 1, 2010, Community Care Services will host its 5th Annual Gala “A Night for Caring” at the Skyroom in New Bedford. Festivities will include a sampling of delectable culinary masterpieces, a distinctly unique wine tasting, a silent auction, and the presentation of the Community Care Services’ “Heart of the Community” Award to U.S. Congressman Barney Frank. Congressman Frank has been a leading advocate for the well-being of those less fortunate in his district since being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.
Presented by Thomas Fisher, President & CEO of Community Care Services, this award is bestowed upon an individual who is recognized by the community as a leader whose dedication and work has enhanced the quality of life for children, individuals, families, and seniors throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Tickets are $100 per person. All proceeds benefit Community Care Services
