VILLAGE ARTISANS COLLABORATIVE TO HOST ARTIST GALLERY RECEPTION

The Village Artisans Collaborative will be hosting an artist gallery reception Saturday, March 6 from 7:00pm – 10:00pm. Free and open to the public, refreshments will be served along with entertainment by local Plainville musician Brad Smith offering music from the 50’s through the 90’s including standards, pop, country, easy listening and soft rock.

Saturday’s reception will highlight the collaborative’s Art for Haiti fundraising event where 100% of all sales of many donated works by local artists will be donated to the Red Cross for the relief effort in Haiti. Be sure to look for the yellow tags marking these special items. Artists who are interested in donating artwork to the cause may contact Cindy O’Brien at naarts@comcast.net for more information. The reception also highlights the opening of the collaborative’s Spring Room hosting works which celebrate the coming season.

The collaborative store, located at 21 North Washington Street, downtown North Attleboro, hosts thirty-two artists featuring fine arts and crafts including painting, photography, fabrics, pottery, glass, jewelry and much more. Hours are Wed 10-6, Thurs & Fri 10-7, Sat 10-5 and Sun 11-2. Mon & Tues  closed. Be sure to stop by and support the arts!

The Village Artisans is an “Art Community for Community”  dedicated to promoting the arts in our community.

This organization is supported solely by volunteers.
