As the 2009-2010 legislative session came to a close on July 31, State Senator Richard Ross carried over from the House to the Senate his perfect legislative voting record. Since being elected to the Senate in May, Senator Ross compiled a 100% voting record, by being in attendance for all 154 Senate votes taken.
Senator Ross’ perfect voting record began back in 2004 after he was first elected to the House of Representatives representing the 9th Norfolk District and continues today as the State Senator representing the Bristol, Norfolk, and Middlesex District.
“It’s an honor to serve the constituents of the Bristol, Norfolk and Middlesex District and it’s my duty to make sure I fulfill my role as an elected official to the best of my ability,” said Senator Ross. “I take great pride in my perfect voting record in hopes of it reflecting my deep gratitude and commitment to being your State Senator. I always work as hard as I can for the constituents of the district and having a 100% voting record is one way to show it.”
Senator Ross currently is the Assistant Minority Whip and sits on the Senate Ways and Means Committee.
