HarborOne U Receives Good Neighbor Award From Tri-Town Chamber

The annual meeting of the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce was held at the Mansfield Holiday Inn on Friday, January 27. At the meeting, Kara Griffin, Executive Director of the Chamber, presented a number of awards.

HarborOne U was the recipient of the Chamber’s “Good Neighbor Award” which Ms. Griffin gave to Maureen Wilkinson, VP of HarborOne Credit Union and Director of HarborOne U, the credit union’s Resource Center which opened in June of 2010 in Mansfield. The Center offers free workshops and speakers on numerous topics. It also makes its space available free of charge to numerous non-profit agencies and has sponsored many events in Mansfield and surrounding towns. Over two thousand residents have attended HarborOne U functions.

Members of the state legislative delegation also presented HarborOne U with a citation of commendation.

With $1.8 billion in assets, HarborOne is the largest community-based credit union in New England and one of the 100 largest in the United States. It has received five consecutive Outstanding rating for performance under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) from the Division of Banks, Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
