The Board of Directors of HarborOne Credit Union announced that its resource center, HarborOne U, had made a donation of $2,000 to renew its sponsorship of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Walk in Mansfield. The 18 hour overnight event is held to increase awareness and raise funds to combat cancer. HarborOne will also be encouraging its employees to form a team of walkers.
The Mansfield Relay for Life Committee also uses free space at HarborOne U to hold its regular meetings.
HarborOne U, the credit union’s Resource Center opened in June of 2010. The Center has offered free workshops and speakers on numerous topics. It also makes its space available free of charge to numerous non-profit agencies and has sponsored many events in Mansfield and surrounding towns. Over two thousand residents have attended HarborOne U functions.
