What would March be without a wee bit o’ the Irish?  Your Celtic soul will dance a jig on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 7:00pm when the Weaver Library, 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence hosts one of its most popular programs, “Celebrating Ireland in Story and Song.”

This lively all Irish family program features Mary King, a multi-talented fiddler, harpist, and vocalist, Phil Edmonds, a native of Killaloe, County Clare, Ireland and master of the tin whistle and button accordion, and Hughie Purcell.  Dublin bred Purcell is as musical and playful as Phil and Mary, adding acoustic guitar, fiddle, and banjo to the fun.

Come early for a seat and enjoy a program that will have you smiling right through St. Patrick’s Day! Questions? Contact Adult Services Librarian Joyce May at 434-2453 or eplibraryjoyce@yahoo.com.  This concert is free and open to all.
