GREEN CLEAN-UP

Attleboro Land Trust will hold a spring clean-up on Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the following three sites: Colman Reservation and Vaughan Memorial Forest (meet at the parking lot on Steere Street):

Please sign in with site captain John Levis when you arrive. Help needed here on clearing trails and picking up litter along roadside. Bring brush cutting tools and work gloves if you have them. Trash bags will be provided.

Larson Woodland, on Riverbank Road across from Willett School: Please sign in with site captain Charlie Adler when you arrive. Help needed here digging post holes for signs, removing invasive plants, and grooming disturbed areas. Bring shovels, rakes, push brooms, post-hole diggers, brush cutting tools, and work gloves if you have them.

Joseph and Margaret O’Donnell Nature Preserve (meet at the Finberg Field parking lot on Bishop Street): Please sign in with site captains Clif Ennis and Denise Antaya when you arrive. Help needed here picking up trash along roadside. Bring work gloves if you have them. Trash bags will be provided.

FYI, a new group, Keep Attleboro Beautiful, will also be holding a clean-up on Saturday, (which also happens to be Earth Day!). They will be picking up litter along lower County Street (between Phillips and Read Street) and Reynolds Street (between Oak Hill Avenue and Agricultural Avenue) from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
