Have you seen a grass shrimp up close and personal? Field Studies For Families: Estuary Adventures will give you a chance to see what lies beneath Ninigret Pond. Join Frosty Drew Nature Center naturalists and explore the shore of Ninigret Pond on Saturday, May 6 from 10:30 am ??? 12:30 pm.?? Using a 40-foot seine net, we???ll discover some of the rich marine life within RI???s largest coastal salt pond. All ages are welcome.
Meet at Grassy Point parking lot at 10:30 am in the Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge. This is four-tenths of a mile past Frosty Drew Nature Center and Observatory, 61-62 Park Lane, Charlestown, RI 02813
Rain policy: Heavy downpour or thunderstorm will cancel; light rain or drizzle will not cancel. Please dress accordingly.
