???I am pleased to hear the legislature accepted the marijuana conference committee report my fellow committee members filed on July 17th 2017.
??The House and Senate members and their staff worked tirelessly to reach a fair compromise in order to properly address many serious concerns following the passage of Ballot Question 4.
I am satisfied with the final committee report.
Though this bill still allows access to marijuana for adults, it addresses many legal and public safety issues of my concern and protects patients, farmers and small businesses.
The report will now be passed along to Governor Baker.???
