19 ON PAPER

Welcome to 19 on Paper’s inaugural newsletter.

We hope your Holiday Season has been a happy, healthy, and safe one in these challenging times.

Let us tell you a bit about who we are and what we do. Formed in 1986, 19 on Paper is a group of New England artists who create works of art of, on, or with paper which we exhibit as a group.

“Spring to Life” by Kendra Ferreira

We are painters, collage artists, printmakers, book artists, photographers, digital artists, and sculptors. Often our works are solo creations although we do join collectively in thematic and collaborative creative efforts.

We strive to promote an appreciation of paper-based art through exhibitions, portfolios, sharing, networking, and professional growth among our members. Our commitment to paper is a significant element in the art of our group exhibitions.

Exhibiting our work as a group is our core activity. To date, we have had more than 50 group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout New England and abroad including a comprehensive 25th anniversary show at Rhode Island’s acclaimed Newport Art Museum and exhibitions in London, Moscow, and Japan.
