We hope you are planning to attend the Grand Opening of the Deborah and Roger Richardson Nature Preserve on June 9.
If you could volunteer part of that day to help us run the event, it would be greatly appreciated.
Here is where we need help:
Set-up Team: Set up tent, tables, chairs, signs, etc. Help with alpacas. Set up field games.
When: 7:00 to 10:00 am
Parking Team: Direct cars to parking in the upper hayfield. 4 people needed for each shift.
1st shift: 9:00 to 11:00 am
2nd shift: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
3rd shift: 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Program Team: Staff information table. Announce activities. Fill water tanks. Empty trash barrels. Be available for emergencies or anything unexpected.
1st shift: 9:00 to 11:00 am
2nd shift: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
3rd shift: 1:00 to 3:00 pm
Food Team: Sell picnic box lunches. Serve beverages.
When: 11:30 am to 2:00 pm
Clean-up Team: Take down tent, tables, and chairs and move into secure storage area.
When: 3:00 to 6:00 pm
