Would you and your employees know what to do in the event of an active shooter entering the workplace?

The Empowerment Factory, Susan Johnston Casting and??YourAlchemist.com??are hosting a??Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE)??training seminar. This session provides preparation and a plan for businesses on how to more proactively handle the threat of an aggressive intruder or active shooter event.??

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the??Avoid, Deny, Defend??(ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, and considerations for conducting drills.??

The instructors for this seminar are police officers form the Planning & Training Division of the Pawtucket Police Department. They included Lieutenant Shawn Driscoll, Sargent Kenneth Dolan, and Detective Robert Cardente.
