The kindergartners made their traditional visit to the Little Red School House. The District 17 One Room School House is on the Hill-Roberts Elementary School Campus in South Attleboro.

The historical school house is over one-hundred-seventy years old.

As usual the kids were eager, agog and amazed.

The children delighted in doing reading, ‘riting and ‘rithmetic on their slates.

There were no shortage of children to volunteer answers and questions for the “School Mam.”

They especially enjoyed their “walk home” down the path and through the woods.

Over one hundred students and their teachers participated in the activities.

The Little Red School House is an available resource by appointment throughout the year.
