Public Meeting 2/28/19 Planning for Preservation
Come one, come all! RIHPHC seeks your input as we prepare to update the State Historic Preservation Plan . A series of public meetings in 2019 invite conversation about our program areas, where we should grow, and how your feedback can inform our work.
Our first conversation is generally focused on the National Register of Historic Places . Topics may include survey goals, postwar architecture, sites related to underrepresented communities, and resource types to be prioritized for listing. Panelists Ned Connors (preservation consultant), Joanna Doherty (RIHPHC), and Marta Mart í nez ( RI Latino Arts ) will start the discussion. Audience participation encouraged.
