SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
The East Providence Public Library is proud to announce the schedule for its 2019 Summer Concert Series, which will begin on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 6:30 pm with a performance by the Warwick Symphony Orchestra on the Weaver Library lawn.
The library is thrilled that the 70-piece orchestra included Weaver Library in their pop-up concerts which they are performing throughout Rhode Island. Music for the evening will include patriotic, popular/jazz, and musical theater selections.
The full concert schedule for 2019 includes:
July 10: Warwick Symphony Orchestra (Food Truck: Gotta Q BBQ)
July 17: The New Providence Big Band (Food Truck: Rocket Fine Street Food)
July 24: KabuJazz Ensemble featuring Candida Rose (Food Truck: Taste of Island)
July 31: URI Jazz Big Band (Food Truck: Rocket Fine Street Food)
Aug. 7: Navy Band Northeast (Food Truck: Haven Brothers Mobile)
Aug. 21: RI Philharmonic Youth Summer Wind Ensembles (Food Truck: Gotta Q BBQ)
All concerts are free and open to the public. The music begins at 6:30pm and ends at approximately 8 pm.
Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair and to enjoy dinner from a different food truck each week.
Food trucks will begin serving at 5:30 pm.
