Angel MacLeod to take reins of Feehan Co-Ed Golf Program

ATTLEBORO, MA – Bishop Feehan High School is proud to announce that Angel MacLeod has been named varsity co-ed golf head coach, effective immediately.

MacLeod takes over for former head coach, Arthur Anderson, who stepped down after ten years at the helm.

Coach MacLeod was most recently the assistant golf coach for four seasons at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and previously an assistant golf professional at Norton Country Club in Norton, Mass.

“I am very excited to have Angel join our coaching staff,” said Feehan Athletic Director Christan Schatz. “Her knowledge and experience will help our golfers to grow in every facet of the game.”

Angel has qualified and competed in multiple United State Golf Association events, is a nine-time Attleboro Area Women’s Open champion, a four-time Wannamoisett Country Club champion and a 2012 inductee into the Attleboro Area Golf Association Hall of Fame.

“I am very excited about becoming the next head coach,” said MacLeod. “I am proud to continue the strong legacy of the Bishop Feehan golf program.”

Angel has accumulated a vast knowledge of the game of golf and all that the game entails both mentally and physically through her own coaching and playing career experiences and will bring these experiences to the Bishop Feehan golf program to ensure its continued growth and success.

Angel and her husband Scott have two children, Morgan (17) and Drew (13), and reside in North Attleboro, MA.
