 The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine is to ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences and to work toward prevention, control and a cure for epilepsy through advocacy, education, research and support services. 

As of October 2009, the Epilepsy Foundation New England Donation Center (EFNEDC) opened in Wilmington, MA.  The Clothing Donation Program helps divert discarded clothing from landfills, making it convenient for the community to recycle their used clothing, while at the same time, providing an additional source of funding for our programs and services.  All proceeds from the Epilepsy Foundation New England Donation Center go toward research in finding a cure for epilepsy, new medications, support groups, an annual camp “Camp Wee-Kan-Tu” held in Duxbury, MA for kids/teens, job placement, etc. 

On June 12, 2010, the Epilepsy Foundation New England Donation Center welcomed their newest Attended Donation Site to Taunton, MA, located at 306 Winthrop St., within the Winthrop Park Place Plaza.  The Donation Site is open 7 days a week, Monday – Friday 7am – 7 pm, Saturday 7am – 5pm, and Sunday 10am- 3pm.    This is our first and only POD location as of right now.  We hope for many more in the future.
