Three GBCA Volleyball Players Earn All-Star Honors

        ATTLEBORO – Three student-athletes at Grace Baptist Christian Academy of Attleboro received all-star honors this fall from girls’ volleyball coaches in the Massachusetts Association of Christian Schools.

          GBCA freshman Jamie Emerson was a 1st-team MACS all-star choice, while freshmen Olivia Beals and Hannah Johnson were both accorded 2nd-team distinction.

“We are very proud of these young women and their achievements of this season,” said Pastor Jeffrey Nichols, GBCA’s principal and director of athletics. “All three clearly distinguished themselves during the past season and give us great hope for the coming seasons.”

With just one senior on its roster, GBCA this year struggled to a final 2-10 record, but placed third in the annual MACS State Tournament.
