May 7th, 2010 · No Comments
Kate Campbell’s Third Grade at Hill Robert’s School invited My Backyard to a celebration and culmination of month’s of work for the Make A Wish Foundation. In October on Making a Difference Day, The class decided to organize a book sale. They collected donated books from October through January. Along with the kids and Mrs. Campbell, classroom parents helped organize and staff the April 26th one day booksale.
The class sold fifteen hundred thirty three dolars and fifty seven cents worth of books. The students wrote a story of the project and each student would read a line from the story. They decided to invite their classmates to the presentation of the money to the Make A Wish Foundation.
