Jim Greeting Guests
United State Representative Jim McGovern held a cordial “meet and greet” event at Jonathan’s in the Union Station neighborhood of Attleboro Saturday afternoon. Dozens of neighbors and constituents stopped in to visit, chat and in many cases discuss the issues stressing both local and national situations.
Jim was on top of his game and whether sharing a laugh or explicating a position on Libya or pending budget issues in the House of Representatives he was open, informative and concise. Group to group or one on one he was comfortable, affable and informed and his audience enjoyed his company.
Local celebrities, candidates and political personalities all enjoyed McGovern’s visit. DoubleACS, Patch, The Sun Chronicle and My Backyard covered the festivities.

Jonathan’s is becoming the spot to see and be seen. The food and drink is always the best and the room makes you feel you are a guest visiting someone’s home. Try it. You will like it.
We will have to do this again. A pleasant afternoon was enjoyed by all.
