This is an outreach concert of the best professional and pre-professional modern dance from Rhode Island. Fusionworks Dance Company spotlights local dancers, choreographers, musicians, technicians and costume designers in Locally Grown.
The performances feature: Fusionworks II in three dances including a new dance by Local company member Claudine Lott, another in costumes created by Local designer/dancer Shauna Edson, and Freedom In the Box created by Local Fusionworks II Director Stephanie Stanford Shaw to the music of the Local band Synergy.
Each show will include special guests Local students from the Jacqueline M. Walsh Performing Arts School’s dance department in a dance created by Local artist and educator Tovah Bodner Muro. They will round out the show with dances performed by everyone’s favorite Local modern dance company Fusionworks Dance Company wearing the costumes of Local designer Beth Bentley.
