In the first annual Saint John’s Volleyball Tournament, held at Bishop Feehan High School, Saint Mary-Sacred Heart took first with a 9-1 record for the day. The post-season tournament was played by the top four teams from the Catholic Athletic League out of Providence: St. Cecilia’s II of Pawtucket, St. John’s I of Attleboro, Saint Mary-Sacred Heart of North Attleboro, and St. John’s II. Also playing was St. Mary’s of Mansfield. SMSH finished third during the regular season with a 23-7 record.
