SMSH 8th grade class in one of the halls with snowflakes hanging above.
We may not have a White Christmas outside this year, but the 8th Grade students at St. Mary-Sacred Heart School decked their school halls with snowflakes of all sorts.
Their art Teacher Mrs. Shawn Sweet inspired them to do an Art Installation project, which is an artistic genre of three dimensional works which transform a particular interior space.
The 8th graders choose to do a special gift to the younger students of the school by decorating the school in hand cut and dye cut beautiful snowflakes. Each hall and ceiling outside of the classrooms is decorated with the beautiful pieces of art, transforming the school into a winter wonderland.
