Feehan Announces Globe Scholar-Athlete

Bishop Feehan High School senior, Thomas Romero of Mansfield, son of William and Loretta Romero, was among 22 students from the area selected as Scholar-Athletes by the Jack Grinold EMass Chapter of the National Football Foundation. Romero was the quarterback of the Division 3 Super Bowl champions, and finished the regular season with 13 touchdown passes. A two-year starter, he was an Eastern Athletic Conference All-Star and a Globe All-Scholastic.
Romero will be attending Bowdoin College in the fall. This is Bishop Feehan’s 5th selected recipient in 10 years. Past recipients include Ryan Tully ’01 (Harvard), Justin Brunelle ’03 (Ithica), David Paine ’04 (Harvard), and Nicholas Schweiger ’08 (Dartmouth).
