Rhode Island crime novelist J. J. Partridge offers insights on writing thrillers, chillers, and noir on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 7pm at the Weaver Library. ??Partridge will also discuss his latest crime novel- Scratched, the third in his mystery series featuring Algy Temple, a pool playing sleuth.??

Partridge???s mysteries appeal locally as they include locales such as Federal Hill,??Providence’s East Side,??and Westerly’s shoreline,??as well as Rome and Southern Italy. His memorable characters include Sonny Russo,??the capital city’s mendacious mayor, Nadie Winokur, a psychologist who is Temple’s love interest, and Benno Bacigalupi, a retired State Police detective.??

Author J.J. Partridge is, in reality, John J. ‘Jack’ Partridge, lawyer and Senior Counsel to the firm of Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP.??
