Family Drive-Out In Norton With A Special Performance by Ayla Brown |

There will be a Family Drive-Out at the Norton Outdoor Center with a special Performance by American Idol Finalist Ayla Brown on Saturday, July 19. Ayla will be performing around 6 p.m. and a craft will be immediately following the performance. The Movie, Cheaper by the Dozen, starts at approximately 8:00 p.m. Meet up with all your friends and neighbors at Norton's first full scale Drive-Out Movie Theater! There will be a Family Craft Contest for the most creative "vehicle." We have the supplies, you bring the creativity! Decorate the vehicle of your dreams! Then, watch an awesome family friendly movie on our giant movie screen. Don't forget to visit our concession stand! The event is free to NOC Summer Pass Holders. All others may purchase Special Event Passes: Individuals $8, Family $15. The Norton Outdoor Center is located at: 290 West Main Street Norton, MA 02766, across from Downtown Pizza & MGA Links. FOR 2008/09 SEASON PRODUCTIONS |
Perishable, RI's Research & Development Theatre, will be holding an open audition for the 2008-2009 season on Saturday, August 9th from 1-6pm at Perishable Theatre, 95 Empire Street, Downtown Providence. Auditions are being held by appointment only. To make an appointment, call the Perishable Theatre audition hotline at (401) 331-2695 ext. 301. Actors of all types who are at least the age of 18 are welcome to attend. Please prepare a contemporary monologue up to 2 minutes in length. Perishable is casting for the 14th International Women’s Playwriting Festival Oct. 2-Nov. 2, 2008 Bad Money by Meg Miroshnik, Feb. 20-March 8, 2009 Directed by Vanessa Gilbert A comedy about market forces, relative morality, and the ambivalence of globalization. Bring a headshot and resume if available. Callbacks will be scheduled for a later date. Actors who are cast receive an honorarium.
