??Attleboro,??one of six districts (Boston, Lowell, Revere, Somerville, and Winchester),??looking for a richer means of assessing students and school progress, has joined the Massachusetts Consortium of Innovative Education Assessment, better known as MCIEA.
MCIEA’s governing board is comprised of superintendents and MTA/AFT union presidents, who work collaboratively together.??
The Center for Collaborative Education coordinates MCIEA???s work and member districts have the advantage of also working with representatives from the College of the Holy Cross and the Center for Assessment. ???
We believe by participating in this ground-breaking consortium, Attleboro will foster a??more robust and richer system of multiple measures of student engagement, student achievement and school quality.??
