There will be a work party from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 18, at the Richardson Preserve, 577 B Wilmarth Street in Attleboro. Volunteers are needed.
There are a variety of maintenance tasks to be done, including lawn raking, grading the parking area with rakes and shovels, post-hole digging, removing some wooden pallets from wetlands, filling in low spots in trails, and weeding around the peonies and day lilies in Deborah’s Garden.
We have some tools on hand, but you may want to bring your own tools for whatever type of work you are interested in. More wheelbarrows would be helpful. Bring work gloves if you have them and waterproof boots if you want to help with tasks in wet areas.
