Coastal Growers “Apple Day” Special Event Saturday, October 12
Coastal Growers Farmers Market will be hosting their annual “Apple Day” special event on Saturday, October 12 at Casey Farm, 2325 Boston Neck Road, Saunderstown.
The event will take place between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm during normal farmer market hours.
Apple Day is a free event for the community to sample tastings from Coastal Growers Farmer Market vendors and enjoy fun fall games.
There will be an “Apple Pie Bake Off Competition” during the market as well. Free beer samplings from Whalers Brewing Company, and samples from Rheds Hot Sauce, Luckyfoot Ranch, Beautiful Day Granola, June Loves English Bakery, Bardens Family Orchard Apples, SoulFresh Proteins, Knead Doughnuts, Olgas Saucer and Cup, and Casey Farm.
Music by “Farm Dog” and fun kids activities will be offered.
A full farmers market will take place during the tasting event.
Vendors sell produce, meat, cheese, flowers, prepared foods, juices, granolas, bakery goods, souvenirs and more.
The event will happen rain or shine.
The event is free and family friendly.
Donations will be accepted.
