Social Distance Clean-up
Good Morning Friends of the Ten Mile and Bucklin Brook,
Given the current situation with everything being canceled, we are looking for new ways to take care of our watersheds during this time.
We are asking for all of our members and hopefully members of other groups to take part in a social distance cleanup.
Please pick a spot in either the Ten Mile River or Bucklin Brook Watershed some time between April 18th and April 19th and fill a trash bag.
It could be the woodland down the street, a bridge over a stream, or along your own road.
It doesn’t matter, everything helps.
Remember not to pick up sharp objects or anything that can harm you. And very importantly, send pictures so they can be shared and we can be reminded that we ARE part of a community and are making a difference. And if you could, please let us know where you will be cleaning so that we can make sure we are all keeping a distance and staying healthy.
