Here’s a peek into the #ELVS20 experience

Racial Justice

In both keynote and deep-dive sessions, you’ll build your skills for antiracism. Join Glenn Singleton, author of Courageous Conversations About Race, for a keynote and workshop, plus many more opportunities to move together toward more equitable schools.

Social-Emotional Learning

Help your school community heal with practical guidance on Crew, trauma-responsive practices, restorative practices, and more. Learn directly from educators, students, and researchers, including keynote speaker Dena Simmons, Director of Implementation at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence

Quality Curriculum

Quality curriculum and deeper instruction are in reach, even if classes are remote or hybrid this fall. Take a deep dive with educators and experts into the science of reading and the standards-aligned EL Education K-8 Language Arts curriculum, including support for EL Education Flex Curriculum: 2020-21

Take time between deep dives for networking and relationship-building within affinity groups during dedicated virtual community time. Together, we can navigate an unprecedented school year with equity in our sights and co-conspirators at our sides.
